The
History of Timberview:
How do
two people, one from the Bronx and the other from Queens,
end up on Tug Hill? That's a question often asked here at Timberview! The answer is Snowmobiling!
In 1987
John sold his dental lab in Lynbrook, Long Island and took
one year leave of absence. This allowed him to spend a lot
of time riding Tug Hill. Laura joined her fiancée whenever
possible.
One weekend
Johnnyboy returned home and surprised everyone by announcing
he had bought The John Barley Corn, their favorite stop on
the trail. "Pack your bags!"
After
lots of cleaning and remodeling in November of 1989 the Timber
Lodge was born. In October of 1994 our Polaris dealership
was established. We offer a full line of Polaris clothing
and accessories and a service department. Be sure to visit
our show room. We also stock parts and accessories from Parts
Unlimited and other after market companies. There's something
for every snowmobile lover.
In 1999-2000,
we added a brand new ten unit hotel with Jacuzzi suites and
conference room. We hope you stop in either for a drink, lunch,
dinner or to stay in our hotel. If your stay is enjoyable,
tell a friend, if not, tell us. We look forward to seeing
you at Timberview again.
