ATV RIDING:

The Tug Hill/Adirondack region has 100's of miles of legal ATV trails. One of the few places in NYS to legally ride your ATV. Please remember your vehicle must be registered and insured in NYS and you must wear a helmet. Please ride safely and respect all private land owners.

SNOWMOBILING:

Lewis County has over 600 miles of MAINTAINED snowmobile trails connecting 100's of miles of additional trails in NYS. Ideal conditions and traffic is Monday through Friday. Please remember your vehicle must be registered and insured in NYS and you must wear a helmet. Please ride safely and respect all private land owners.

HORSEBACK RIDING:

There is horseback riding available within 2 miles of Timberview Lodge.

SKIING:

Snow Ridge, a ski resort within 3 miles of Timberview Lodge, offers downhill skiing and snowboarding. There is cross country skiing adjacent to Timberview in the Lesser Wilderness Area.

CANOEING:

Canoe on the majestic Black River which is located within 5 miles of Timberview Lodge.

WHITE WATER RAFTING:

Go white water rafting on the Moose River or take a tour on the Black River in Watertown with the Hudson River Raft Company.

MOUNTAIN BIKING:

Hit the trails of the Lesser Wilderness Ski Area directly across from Timberview.

GOLF:

There are 4 golf courses close to Timberview: Turin Highlands Golf Course, Branningham, Cedars, and Carloden
